Acupuncture

Traditional Chinese Medicine believes there are vital energy forces (Qi) that act within the body.

Acupuncture is the insertion of fine needles into key points that stimulate the flow of Qi in the body along different meridians and channels.

Acupuncture is not painful but patients may experience a stinging, tingling or dull ache feeling when they are first inserted. Needles are left in for 10-30 mins.

The number of treatments needed depends on the severity and duration of the condition.
